STEM- Construct a ladder to help at the Apple Orchard

As we were learning about apples, we created different types of ladders to use to reach the top of the mini apple tree. The children needed to use pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks as materials. They had to make sure the ladder would hold their finger pressing down on the rung as their finger climbed the ladder. It was a great assignment that required trial and error.
