Saint Mary School is anchored in Catholic faith, values and proven academic excellence. We inspire students to be lifelong learners and servant leaders of our local and global community.
I am thrilled to be St. Mary School’s 2-Day and 3-Day Pre-School Teacher. I have been an early childhood/elementary educator for 17 years. I have a Bachelor of Music from
Ithaca College and an M.Ed in Elementary Education from Boston College. I hold dual Massachusetts licensure to teach elementary grades 1 through 6 and early childhood grades Pre-K through 2. Over the years I have taught Pre-School, Pre-K, Kindergarten, grades 1 and 2, and I have been a Kindergarten through fourth grade reading specialist.
My heart is truly in early childhood and elementary education and I love being a classroom teacher. Every year I think I learn more from the children than they learn from me! My teaching philosophy is to set an age-appropriate, safe and predictable schedule for the students so they can grow and thrive on each of their own paths. I am there to support and guide them at each step, while encouraging their independence and social development.
I am also an oboist in area orchestras and
my husband Matt teaches music at the College of the Holy Cross. Together we are proud parents of our three children ages six and under.
