Mrs. Lisa Buffone

I have always been a part of the early childhood field. At the young age of ten, I would help out in my mother's preschool classroom which helped to foster my love of teaching.  I am Lead Teacher Preschool certified through the Massachusetts' Department of Early Childhood and Care and have my degree in Psychology.  I have taught in a preschool/pre-kindergarten setting for over ten years. I was the pre-kindergarten teacher at an early childhood center for over three years, and than was promoted to a program manager role where I oversaw the preschool/pre-kindergarten programs at the school.  After being at that center for nine years, I was overjoyed to accept the preschool position at Saint Mary School.  I am an alumni of Saint Mary School and have been a life-long parishioner of the church.  I am thrilled to continue the tradition of excellence at the preschool level.

My husband and I are the proud parents of our eleven year old daughter, Sophia, who is in the sixth grade at Saint Mary's. We love spending our summers at our family's beach house on Cape Cod.  We also enjoy spending free-time with family and friends.
