I have always loved this quote, especially as I speak to former students about their journeys in life.  It is a blessing and an honor to be a part of filling the "treasure chests" of these amazing young people. 

I have been teaching third grade at Saint Mary School since the 2000-2001 school year after moving from Virginia to Massachusetts. I received both my B.A. and M.Ed. degrees from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. 

I have been married since 2003.  My husband and I have one son who is a Saint Mary School alumnus.

When I am not teaching the wonderful students of Grade Three, I enjoy reading, making crafts, crocheting, and scrapbooking.  I love spending time with family and friends and enjoying my free time with my husband, our son, and our cat, Captain Jack Sparrow.
