Ann has been a music educator, director, and cantor for over 30 years. This is her first year at Saint Mary's School, but she has been a member of the Music Ministry at St. Mary's Parish since 1993. While here, Ann has been a cantor, taught CCD, volunteered and has helped coordinate music for the Communion catechists.
Ann is formally the Assistant Department Head of Performing Arts for the Wellesley Public Schools. While there, she directed the six elementary bands, middle school choruses, and general music, while serving as Curriculum Specialist and supervising the Instrumental Adjunct Staff. She helped to coordinate a middle school curriculum that won an American Music Award. She was also a Keynote Speaker at the Massachusetts Music Educators Convention.
Ann coordinated and directed numerous workshops and camps including The Westborough Players, Shrewsbury and Westborough Summer Enrichment and Vacation Bible School. She also was a community volunteer, coaching various sports and coordinating musical activities for Shrewsbury Little League and various senior facilities
Ann was the recent recipient of a Corrifor Nine Grant which she used to purchase keyboards for K -8 piano lab. She is thrilled to be sharing her passion for educating young people on the joys of music at St. Marys School.
She feels she has come "home" by joining the faculty at. Saint Mary's School.
Ann lives in Shrewsbury with her husband, Paul, who is also a music educator for the Westborough Schools and their two children, Jonathan and Kathryn. Ann loves the outdoors and enjoys traveling with her family to Maine, Cape Cod and the Adirondacks.
