By the end of my first year at Saint Mary School, I was struck by how much the school community and staff created such a sense of belonging. I am now excited to now not only be upgrading our networks and systems but to be sharing my knowledge with the sixth, seventh and eight graders in Computer Science Class and with grade K- 8 in our new MakerSpace sharing how STEM related subjects can improve our lives.
My passion for computers began when I was in middle school myself, where I soon began to "break and fix" my own computers enjoying the learning process. In 2007 I graduated with a Major in Computer Engineering from the University of Juarez (UACJ), Mexico. Soon after I worked in the high speed manufacturing industry managing computer systems. After making Massachusetts my home in 2010, I worked as System Administrator in a medium sized company and then in a public school system. I wanted to continue working in a school setting and when the opportunity arose in a Catholic school, I could not let it pass by.
I live in Worcester with my wife and 4 kids with whom I enjoy playing, making crafts and making music. I also invest my time in our parish serving in music ministry. Along with computers I enjoy songwritting , I have participated in 4 Music Albums, singing, playing guitar or producing.
