September 30 - October 4
Math: continued practice with arrays and odd/even numbers
Fundations: practice reading for Fluency following the scooping of phrases..
Reading: read nightly and complete the reading log. Please leave in folder. Reading is an important part of the homework



This week we are continuing Unit 2 of Fundations. We will continues the glued sounds and the bonus letters. We have finished Unit 2 in Math ( arrays, odd and even numbers) and will begin work with problem solving strategies. These strategies include hundreds charts, number lines, open number lines, break apart and compensation. While these sound like difficult concepts, these ​strategies will be used by the students ​in their following years as well.
